About Me

Smitha Sri Hari- Founder-Little Red Hen Pre-School-BangaloreHello, my name is Smitha Sri Hari, and am the co-founder & head of the Little Red Hen International Pre-school at Kothanur, Bangalore North. “Because, I am your Mother !” is my personal blog.

As a mother and a teacher, my primary objectives have always been seeking out new and disruptive methods that help children in my care excel in their language and cognitive learning, along with the tried-and-tested established pathways. My leaning has always been towards learning that promotes independence, curiosity, decision-making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem solving — the fundamental skills that help determine success in adult life.

It has always been a delightful learning experience for everyone included in the process. And I love being a part of it. And, at the end of the day, here is what I always take to bed, “Parenting is not a hobby, but a life-time investment.”
